We are now writing to announce Kanazawa University Online Training Program for Japanese Language Teachers and to call for participants for fiscal year 2021.
Kanazawa University (Hereafter, KU) has developed an online program for teachers engaged in Japanese language education outside Japan, which will be available from 2020. In FY2020, the course was offered to a limited number of institutions, but in FY2021, the course will be open to all partner institutions. Please inform the relevant people.
Time: Nov. 20, 2021 – Feb. 20, 2022

Eligibility
- Students or faculty members enrolled at universities that have inter-university agreements with Kanazawa University.
- Participants are required to have a Japanese language proficiency of JLPT N3 or higher, and the ability to take courses and write reports in Japanese.
- Participants must be able to purchase the following textbooks (textbooks are required for the course) An Introduction to Teaching Materials Research for Teaching Japanese” (Kindle Edition) Nozomi Fukazawa and Hiroyuki Honda
Participation fee
Free of charge (However, Vietnamese participants who are taking the course as part of a working adult course at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Humanities and Social Sciences, Vietnam, are requested to pay the participation fee and register through the Ho Chi Minh City University of Humanities and Social Sciences)
Course Certificate (e.g. diploma)
Those who have completed both the theoretical and practical sections will receive a certificate of completion from the Director of the Kanazawa University International Organization.
