About the Educational Program
The International Center for Research and Education of Japan Studies (the Center) is the successor to two former organizations: The International Student Center (April 1995 to March 2012) and the Organization of Global Affairs (April 2012 to March 2024). Over these years, the two entities served the key education function of underpinning Kanazawa University’s international exchange activities.
Launched in April 2025 under General Education and Intercultural Collaborative Learning Institution’s Intercultural Collaborative Learning Department, the Center will take over and advance the above role going forward, and play a leading role in further developing the international competency of the University.
